Can you believe it? Halloween is almost here and again the Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt is teaming up with the Rotary Club of Mukwonago. This year will be a bit different as we are starting the walk-through at 6:00PM. Vehicles will not be allowed into the Park. This is due to concerns for pedestrian safety.
Now in its 16th year, the Jaunt/Haunt has grown to be the community's premier family event. Low admission prices coupled with attractions and decorations suitable for all ages make it a popular destination. Adults $2.00, Children 12 and under, $1.00, Infants 2 and under are free.
As in previous years, the Jaunt will again be placing carved Jack-O-Lanterns donated by the Mukwonago area community residents around the entire park. We will supply and light the candles that are placed in the Jack-O-Lanterns. Any number of Jack-O-Lanterns can be carved for this event. Individuals, families, groups, clubs and any other interested carvers can bring their Jack-O-Lanterns to the park on Friday, October 13 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Displays can be set up at this time.
Again this year, Christopher Mihm will be featuring his latest film, "Guns of the Apocalypse". The film will be shown at 8:00PM at the Lions Pavillion, at the southern end of the park. There is no charge for the showing. A link to his website is here> Guns of the Apocalypse
