Mukwonago's 10th Annual

Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt / Halloween Haunt

Come and celebrate the Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt's 10th year of family fun! This year the Rotary Club of Mukwonago's Halloween Haunt is partnering with the Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt to create an even bigger and better event for our community! Stroll through the spooktacular pavillion, play a few games, get your face painted, enjoy some refreshments and much more! Everyone is invited to wear a costume.

The park will be filled with carved pumpkins donated by local businesses and individuals and placed along the walking paths. Civic groups and youth groups  carve pumpkins and the Jack-O-Lanterns are lit every evening from opening until close. Everyone is invited to view the pumpkins at their leisure.

This year we are pleased to feature another independent movie from Christopher Mihm, "House of Ghosts" at 8:00. This movie is based on the 1950’s black and white “B” movies and is a lot of fun. This is a family friendly movie. It is suitable for everyone including the kids. We will again show it on the baseball field and it has a drive-in-movie feel to it. Bring your own seating.

There are refreshments available, crafts for the kids and plenty of interesting Jack-O-lanterns to see. The Jaunt will be held on Friday, October 19 and Saturday, October 20. There is a drive through from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM and then the walk will continue from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM each night.

The admission is $1.00 per person and all the proceeds of the Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt / Halloween Haunt will go back into the community to support the MHS Skilled Trades Program, provide scholarships and to assist in the development of the new Mukwonago Bandshell.

Please dress for the weather as the event will not be cancelled due to rain.
